Cycling has accompanied me since I was 12 years old. I gained my first racing experience at the age of 14 with RC Schwarz and then with the elite club Desserta. At the age of 21 I was called up to the national team. With this team I was able to take part in several international races and tours, such as the Tour of Austria, the Tour of Malaysia and the World Championships in France in 2000. Various cycling teams were my companions during my 14 years as an elite rider. After I finished my active career, I was in charge of the professional team ELKHAUS as a service mechanic.
Already at an early stage of my active career I realised that not only training is important, but also an optimal riding position is a decisive factor. In recent years, I have been intensively involved with the topic of bike fitting. Due to various collaborations with physiotherapists, orthopaedists, sports scientists and doctors, I have been able to constantly expand my specialist knowledge.
During my sporting career, I already gained experience in the field of bicycle technology and repair, but initially on a part-time basis. Afterwards, various stations in the bicycle trade and bicycle workshops up to quality control in carbon construction now led me to the next big step of self-employment.
Due to my career, I know the experience on the bike, in the background as a supervisor and as a contact person and mechanic in the specialised trade. Therefore, I can empathise very well with the individual needs of my customers. My personal claim is to look after everyone individually in order to achieve the best possible result for the individual.
